JCCL, Inc. (Head Office: Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City) is pleased to announce that it has been selected for the FY2024 Fukuoka City R&D Startup Growth Support Program (Course B) as of August 1, 2024.

This program, organized by Fukuoka City, aims to support the growth of R&D-based startups with unique technologies that are expected to drive the city’s future economy. It provides subsidies for expenses related to business development. JCCL was selected under the theme of “Demonstration of Carbon Capture from City Gas Emissions”.

In May 2024, JCCL began selling CO₂ capture equipment designed primarily for use in R&D departments of companies, universities, and public institutions. The company has already received inquiries for equipment purchases. With this selection, JCCL will now conduct demonstration tests using actual city gas flue gas and its proprietary CO₂ separation and recovery systems (VSS1 and VPSA1).

This initiative will not only support R&D applications but also promote the implementation of JCCL’s equipment in factories and other facilities where city gas emissions are generated. By expanding use cases and boosting sales, JCCL aims to further contribute to its vision of realizing a sustainable society through CO₂ recovery technologies.
