AboutThe necessity of CO₂ recovery

In order to achieve a carbon-neutral society, it is essential to recover and utilize CO₂ present in exhaust gases and the atmosphere. Various CO₂ recovery technologies have been developed in the past, but there have been significant issues regarding the energy and cost required for the recovery.

Our TechnologyJCCL CO₂ Recovery Technology

JCCL realizes a sustainable carbon-neutral society through cutting-edge carbon dioxide recovery and recycling technology.

JCCL's CO₂ recovery technology was developed at Kyushu University with support from the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). JCCL holds an exclusive license for the intellectual property and know-how related to this CO₂ recovery technology developed at Kyushu University, and they are engaged in the development of technology, products, and businesses.
